Please confirm the proper procedure for installing Creo 3.0 on a team computer that already has 2.0 installed and running, we wanted to keep both available and downloaded the CREO 3.0 files, everything seemed to load OK , then we opened CREO 3.0 , it booted until it got to the license and said neother license was valid, we also have MathCAD on thsi computer so there are 2 license file nunbes coming up. CREO 2.0 still runs OK, do we need another license from PTC specifically for CREO 3.0 ? or do we need to remove the old license files and then get a new one to cover all 3 programs ?

Thank you

Yes, when you ran the Creo 3.0 installation, did you create a new license file? It is required. The license files are unique, so you cannot use the Cre 2.0 license for Creo 3.0 and vice-versa.

Creo 3.0 will not run if you selected the existing Creo 2.0 license during the Creo 3.0 installation.
