Question

Installing Proe in Virtual Computers (Amazon AppStream)

I want my students to use Creo 9.0 for this term's Product Design course. I have requested our IT department to install Creo 9.0 on the virtual lab computers. Our schools use Amazon AppStream.
IT department told me they have issues with the node-locked license. It seems we will need to use a license server to provide the license for the virtual lab computers. We have twelve students registered for this term.
How can we request this type of educational license?

Thanks,

Pablo

Hello,

Would you please be able to let me know more about the school (level, students ages, location) and purpose of using Creo 9.0, in a private message? I may have an option depending on some aspects.

Hi Alex,

This term, I am teaching AMMET 400 - Product Design, Tooling, and Assembly
https://catalog.edmonds.edu/preview_course_nopop.php?catoid=54&coid=109618

AMMET is a four-year degree program delivered at Edmonds College, WA.

I have twelve students.

I aim to teach my students how to develop programs using the Top-Down
design methodology.
I will ask my students to design a simple mechanism composed of linear
rails, pneumatic cylinders, and a three fingers gripper actuator.
Most of my students have installed Creo on their laptops, but some need
to use the Virtual Lab computers.

Please, let me know if this information is enough. I cc'd one of our IT
department technicians, so he can provide more details on the issues we
had when installing Creo on the Virtual Lab computers.

Thanks for your help,

Pablo
