Issue Installing Creo 7.0.8 – Setup.exe Not Launching

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue while trying to install Creo 7.0.8 on my machine. When I run setup.exe as an administrator, nothing launches — no installer window or error message appears.

Interestingly, I was able to install Creo 11 without any issues, but my professor requires us to use Creo 7 for the course.

I’ve already reviewed and followed the suggested steps in the following PTC Community threads:

I’ve also consulted with classmates and others familiar with Creo, but haven’t found a working solution yet. Do you have any up-to-date advice or workaround that might help resolve this issue?

Please try this release, as the release you are attempting to install may not be supported on your Windows:

https://apps.ptc.com/schools/MED-100WIN-CD-440_7-0-12-0_Install-from-web.exe
