Just getting started

Hi anyone and everyone! This is our first year doing a challenge. I am the coach but have not done a challenge. We need a mentor to help us to get started.

We are late to the challenge and need help getting going. We will be reviewing all the courses this week and downloading the software.

Questions:

The download instructions say to download two specific programs. Creo 2.0 and math cad. Do we stil need to download all the other programs listed?

Once we review the courses, download software and do some tutorials I assume we use the resource documents on starting page (process statement etc..). Which ones do we start with?

Where and how do we get to the catalog to pick our uas and other equipment? I am not making the connection here.

Any help will be appreciated!

thank you,

Jon Word

    Hi Jon,

All you should need to download are PTC Creo and PTC Mathcad. You can get them here: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/mkt/educational/program.jsp?&im_dbkey=118075&icg_dbkey=851

Then just work your way down the Getting Started Page: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/wcms/standards/textoimgothumb.jsp?&im_dbkey=156821&icg_dbkey=841

Everything you need is on there. The baseline models are under challnege resources. And the best tutorial to use is called How to Model Almost Anything.

I hope that helps. And if you need anything else, just let me know.

    Best,

    Anthony
