Licensing error

I had creo installed on my desktop and it worked completely fine. However, I recently performed a clean install of windows 10 and tried reinstalling creo 5 but keep getting an error during the licensing stage of the installation.

I have followed this document: https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo5_unistudent_standard.pdf#_ga=2.111497284.1154185903.1540655366-485506032.1540655366 until step 4. I type in the product code, I get prompted to login and once I do I get an error message (see attached picture).

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi,

this error was reported in the past many many times. Probably it is related to network card detection problems during creo installation.

---

In the past user received license file via email after some time ... please check your email "box".

If licensing email is present then save its attachment to local disk. The run installation again. Do not enter Product Code, instead of this enter path to license file into Source field in License Summary section of installer window.

---

If you do not have license file then open DOS prompt window, run ipconfig /all > ip.txt command and upload ip.txt file - I willl check its contents.

Hello,

I am a student and have the student version installed. When I open Creo Parametric 5.0, I get a message that the license expires in one day. When extending this license, after I have entered the username and password, I get the error message: Customer not identified.

What did i wrong?
