Hello,

I am using Creo 6.0 with my laptop connected to a dockingstation and it´s working fine. Ethernet and wireless. Both is working. If I disconnet the laptop from the dockingstation i get the attached error when I start Creo.

Marc

@MarcTUKL Check whether the below steps resolves the problem:-

Check whether the option Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power for the Ethernet Adapter LAN is disabled

  • Go to Device Manager > Network Adapters
  • Select the network card used to generate the license file and go to Properties.
  • Select Power Management and uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

I've tried that, but it doesn't change anything.

Hi,

maybe MAC address 98-E7-43-29-CF-E2 shown on the picture is related to docking station, only.

Tip:

1.] put laptop into dockingstation and run ipconfig /all > ip1.txt from Command prompt window

2.] disconnect laptop from dockingstation and run ipconfig /all > ip2.txt from Command prompt window

3.] compare contents of these files (you can upload them and I will check them...)

  • look for MAC address 98-E7-43-29-CF-E2

I've attached both pictures. Funnily enough, I can't find the MAC address on either one

Hi,

1.] please next time upload text files containing ipconfig output

I think you know that ipconfig /all > ip1.txt creates ip1.txt file in working directory.

2.] can you remember when and how you were connected to Internet ?

It is strange that MAC address 98-E7-43-29-CF-E2 was available during Creo installation and now it is not present. Did you disable some network card ?
