Please contact academicsupport@ptc.com. You need to send them the Host ID (Mac address of the ethernet) and also the product code used. I hope they will send you valid license file.
Host ID ... this means physical address of network card
if Ethernet network card is installed in your computer then use its physical address
if the only network card is WiFi network card then you must turn off MAC address randomization to get real physical address
