Maximum Number of License Requests

I downloaded Mathcad Prime 11.0 Student Edition and was activating the license when I got a pop-up message saying to try again later due to server connectivity. After trying again, I got a message that I had reached the maximum number of license requests for the product. I have also called support and was instructed to come here. Please help!

Hi,

you can request license file via email. Please read https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Education-Forum/Creo-Parametric-9-0-Student-Edition-Licence-error/m-p/897846 discussion.

So you ended up in this forum, which is a communication site for users of Mathcad & Prime, to get help on any questions with regard to (usage of) the applications. Being (frequented by mostly) users, we cannot help you with getting a license, other than pointing you to the troubles page: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Installation/All-About-Mathcad-Software-Installation/m-p/706433#M26

And maybe this helps: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Installation/Licensing-problem-Wrong-host-id/m-p/1025774

I think it is a VERY BAD habit of PTC support to point people to this site for licensing problems, while those PTC support people should know the solution to many such problems.

Success!
Luc
