I just borrowed student version of Creo Parametric 8.0.3.0 from my friend. It was working fine in his PC.

I changed the MAC address to mine in the license file, but afterall that, on startup, it shows Error -8.

After hunting through the files, I found that there is no FLEXnet files, mentioned everywhere in the troubleshooting documents. So, How do I install this separately and connect it with my Creo. As I really don't want to download Creo again, because of data limitations.

 Hi,

"Guided Licensing & Installation Troubleshooter --> Error Codes --> Error (-8)": https://www.ptc.com/en/support/creo-admin-troubleshooter/error-code/other-errors/error-8

I am unable to download FlexNet from Reinistall License Manager section, it is showing I am not allowed to. I have tried other options as well.

Hi,

please don't expect anyone to advise you on a trick.

Ask someone without "data limitations" to download installation package and use standard installation procedure mentioned in available documents.
