Please use Internet Explorer for Windchill

Teams,

Going forward, it would be best for everyone to use Internet Explorer for browsing Windchill. There are some significant changes in Chrome and Firefox that are preventing a few core features of Windchill to not operate properly. Primarily Creo View and any Java applets. These issues are well documented for customers, but not accessible to Academic users, so I have attached the Technical Support articles below if you would like to know all the details.

PTC is still evaluating when the Academic Windchill server can be upgraded to Windchill 11, which should eliminate some of these issues.

    The Academic Windchill server upgrade is complete and now running Windchill 11.0. There are some post upgrade actions and information posted here: Important! Read Me First.

    The upgrade to Creo View 3.1 M010 is planned for early January and should resolve all the Creo View issues with Chrome and Firefox. Until then, Microsoft Internet Explorer is still you best bet to run Windchill independently.
