ProE University Registration Problems

Hi, Im currently studying engineering at the university of nottingham and im trying to register to use the ProEngineer schools edition. Although i first registered with a standard account, before realising that i needed to register as a student. I changed my account settings to another email address and then was able to create another university account using my university email address, but didnt recieve a confirmation email, and im unable to access the downloads page. Is my email address now locked into that account? Or am i going about this wrong? Thnaks
