ptc Port Conflict

I have installed Creo 3.0 Student edition recently it worked fine. After one some time when i try to open creo i get error saying-

"Port-conflict" "The previous restart failed. The port 51244 is also occupied. Restart Creo Parametric and all other opened PTC Applications again. We apologize for any inconvenience"

With every restart, the Port number counts up. So now I'm at Port 51256.

I can't contact any support, because i only have the Student Edition.

I use Win 10 64-Bit-Version on a HP Pav Notebook.

Does anybody know what could solve the Problem?

Greetings

Rhishi.

    Hi,

use TCPView v3.05 application to find out what application uses TCP port.

It is available at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/tcpview.aspx page.

    Hi,

unzip downloaded file and run the program. You will list of processes and TCP ports they use. Find your port number and recognize process using it.

Since this is a student version of Creo, I have moved the discussion over to the Academic Community so the answer can help others.
