Dear all,

I'm a new user of Creo 5.0 (Student Edition). I need to save my file as .unv. Unfortunatelly, i don't have this type of extension in "Save as type".

Does anybody have the same problem??

    Allesandra,

recently I tested data compatibility between Student and Academic version of Creo Parametric 2.0.

    I was able to:

1.] Create a part (.prt) in Student version and open it in Academic version

2.] Create a part (.prt) in Academic version and open it in Student version

I hope that Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 (i.e. ProE Wildfire 5.0) works the same way.

Note: I have never heard about .unv extension.

It's an old post but it looks like the .unv format is from SDRC I-DEAS software This was merged into NX by EDS and is now in the hands of Siemens

With the commercial license (with all inclusive) there is *.unv export from part and assembly mode under the name SuperTab (*.unv).

Don't know about the student license.
