Searching using "Parameters" within ProIntralink

Can anyone tell me how I can insert parameters into the file list of items so that I can search for files related to them, i.e. customer, quote number, etc.

The parameters exist I just cannot figure out how to define a screen view that will show the parameters in the list of available items.
