Sending Windchill Notifications & Invitations using a Yahoo Email Address
For anyone using a Yahoo.com email address, Yahoo.com changed their security policy and no longer allows email to be sent via Yahoo.com unless it originates from Yahoo.com. This is very different from all the other email providers. Details of the change are described in the following links.

If you have a Yahoo.com email account, you will more than likely experience some issues sending team invites or using the Email Page option in Windchill. In the cases I have seen, the email from Windchill will be bounced back to the sender becuase the message is telling the receiving email system to reject it if the message did not originate from Yahoo.com.
PTC is looking into the issue now to determine what options are available to work around this change by Yahoo.com without having a significant impact to all the non-Yahoo.com email users.
If you need a quick fix, the best solution right now is to create a new PTC Academic Account using a non-Yahoo.com email address.Once created, you will need to be invited to your team's project with your new account for proper access.
Sorry about the mix up. This was an unexpected issue for PTC since most Windchill customers are not Yahoo.com email users and have an account on their company's email domain. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly.
