Student edition Creo 11 engineering ribbon

Can we use the hole, chamfer, draft features in the modeling, engineering tab? For me it’s gray. I can’t use the features.

Hi,

all mentioned features are available when user uses Creo Parametric Student license. Please provide more details.

These features can be used in Part mode.

Which license is that? I received one in my email and I downloaded and reconfigured with that license. Should I just download Creo 10 instead? Please see attached image.

Hi,

picture included in your reply is useless because of small resolution.

If you want to provide valuable picture then:

  • make a screenshot of current screen and save it into file
  • do not include picture into the text of the reply ... add it as attachment

The model shown on your picture does not contain any solid geometry, therefore you cannot create hole, chamfer, draft features. These feature are used to remove a piece of the part geometry.

 

Resolution of your problem >>> create solid Extrude feature
