Students Licence on two devices

With my previous student's license on MathCAD prime 7 I was able to use MAthCAD on my Laptop and on my Desktop Pc. Now with my new MathCAD prime 10 license for this year, which looks the same, it is not possible anymore.

When I activated the license last year, it was possible to just use it on both my devices, but now when I try to do this it tells me that I have reached the maximum number of license requests available for my product type. Is this because of MathCAD 10 or was this generally changed?

Doubt it is possible anymore. Licenses are tied to the NIC address and your desktop and laptop would have different NIC addresses. How were you getting the licenses on both before? If you used a dongle (USB stick), that has been disabled for exactly this reason.

Too bad, I just used the same license code on both devices before. But if that no longer works, I will probably have to find another solution. Thanks for the answer anyway.
