WF5 Windows 7 and Vista Server manager problem

We're getting the following message when trying to register the server in Pro/E "Unable to create workspace, check access priviledges and server availability."

Has anybody else seen this problem with Windows 7 or Vista when tryint to connect to the FIRST Windchill server?

Thanks,

Josh

    Hi josh,

I assume you can connect via other machines or should I say OS's right!

Can you email the project in question? I will try and connect using my windows 7 box.

    Hi Mark,

its the Central Valley PTC Associates Project.

The default location of the .wf file is a bit confusing with Windows 7 or Vista. Maybe I'm just stuck in the Win XP world, but it doesn't seem very predictable.

Another problem we may be having is access rights. It could be that users were put into the wrong groups. (Especially since some users can login fine). If you get a chance to test it, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Josh
