What happens when using an old version of an asm file?

Hello guys,

friday evening Creo crashed while saving and damaged the asm file it was supposed to save. To overcome the problem, i deleted the damaged version and used the last properly saved version instead. To my surprise, the old version seems to be almost identical to the new one (the latest versions of the used parts seem to be included). So does it make any difference if i work with the old version? The asm itself has not been changed since then, only some parts have been modified which should be no problem as Creo always loads the latest versions. Or might I face troubles down the road?

Greetings
