When renaming a Creo part in Windchill, "new number" is unavailable to be edited. Only New Name and New File Name are available. Is that locked by PTC? Or because my role is "mentor" and not Project Manager?

When renaming a Creo part in Windchill, "new number" is unavailable to be edited. Only New Name and New File Name are available. Is that locked by PTC? Or because my role is "mentor" and not Project Manager?
