Will Creo 4.0 license also work for version 3.0?

Will Creo 4.0 license also work for version 3.0? I need to know if I can run both versions with the 4.0 license.

Hi,

 

Creo 4.0 license enables you to run Creo 3.0, Creo 2.0, ...

 

During Creo 3.0 installation do not enter Product Code. Instead of it put path to license file into Source field.

    Thank you for your response, a couple quick questions to help me fully understand. So would that be for example port#@hostname or and actual path to the 3.0 license on the licensing server? If it is just the port#@hostname it would be the same for both versions and then the licensing server can tell which licence to hand out?

    Hi,

     

    in case that you have license server managing floating licenses, then enter port#@hostname. That's all.
