To anyone that may know,

Is there a way to model structural fabric in Creo 11? Take a camping chair for example. The frame is easy, but the fabric is difficult. Would like to be able to output a flat pattern for cut and sew and do structural analysis in the model. The CDM module seems the closest but not sure if that is the best way. Any advice would be appreciated.

Composites may not be your best option for your use case. Another approach could be modeling a single quilt to represent the fabric. Then add a thickness and assign a new material to form the part. You can then flatten the quilt to generate a flat pattern.
