Calendar File does not appear in class registration email (google calendar)

I have just noticed recently that, as I have been signing up for PTC classes, there is no attached file to add the class event to my google calendar.

I tried to work around this by downloading the .ics file from My Training, but google calendar pulls up a window saying: "Imported 0 out of 0 events. Unable to process you iCal/CSV file."

 

Has anyone else been having this issue? I think it's very inconvenient to manually mark classes on google calendar, especially since the iCal/.ics whatever files failed to be imported or isn't even provided in the emails.

Hello, and thanks for your feedback.

At this time, our ICS file is compatible with Microsoft Outlook only,

 

Given your feedback, we will look into improving our current ICS format to be compatible with Google Calendar.

 

The only workaround we have for this currently is as follows:

1. Import the ICS file generated by LearningConnector into Outlook.

2. Export the ICS file from Outlook.

3. Import the ICS into Google Calendar.
