PTC University Expert Model Analysis (XMA) 2.4.2 Supports Creo 4.0

I am pleased to announce that PTC University Expert Model Analysis (XMA) 2.4.2 was released on December 12th.  XMA 2.4.2 now supports Creo 4.0.

Hi Jeff,

I´m looking for more XMA information and I have some questions about this solution. Can you help me?

Bellow, you have some questions:

1- Is XMA only a solution to run locally on the folders machine?

2- Are there some connectivity with Windchill?

3- Is XMA like as ModelCheck? Is more powerful or more simple mainly when the customer uses Windchill?

Hi,

 

XMA runs locally on a user's machine. It isn't integrated with Windchill. To scan data in Windchill, it first needs to be exported (e.g. export a workspace).

 

XMA builds on ModelCheck to add aggregated analytics across the whole scanned data set and provides recommendations for corrective action.
