Hello fellow PTC Community members!

We are exploring interest from community members in the connections and collaboration opportunities around the PTC/USER Windchill Technical Committee (TC). The Technical Committees are a part of PTC/USER, an independent user group, run by PTC customers. The TC offers opportunities for working with PTC Product Management to improve Windchill. The TC also offers networking, sharing knowledge, and staying updated on the latest developments and best practices.

If you are interested in learning more, reply to this thread. You can also login and sign up for the Technical Committee on ptcuser.org.

The PTC/USER Windchill Technical Committee Chair is Patrick Williams AKA @pwilliams-3.

Here are some topics that are currently covered by the PTC/USER Windchill Technical Committee, that includes PTC's Windchill product, which is a PLM solution and includes the following:

  • Creating and Managing Complex Assemble-to-Order Products
  • CAD Data Management
  • Design Alternatives and Concurrent Changes
  • Integral ProjectLink and PDMLink
  • Mass Change and Related Change Management Topics
  • Windchill Reporting

Hi James - I'm interested in becoming a member in one of the ptc committees. So please do advise the most expedient way I can do so. I attempted to join, but got a response that I could not be found in the system. So I presume some pre-registration or recognition is needed.

many thanks

Kingsley

Wonderful! @pwilliams-3 , see Kingsley's interest above. Patrick is the leader of this technical committee. I saw the same error that you reported, @DaKing, so I'll pull in @byork  too, Brian is on the PTC/USER board of directors. We'll look into what's happening and get back here shortly!
