Today reminds me of the ethylene glycol boilers I designed for a previous employer whose sole work was to boil liquid natural gas on very frigid day when the natural evaporation process wasn't fast enough to fill the gas pipeline.

    What will Groundhog Day be like today?

     

    Here in the mountains of my region, snow is forecast, which is great for the upcoming Winter Olympics.

      Just heard it on the drive into work. He saw his shadow - 6 more weeks of winter.

      What I don't know is his success rate....

      I heard Punxsutawney Phill is about 39% accurate.  

       

      However, Staten Island Zoo's Chuck does better at about 82% accurate.  He is set to make his appearance in 7 minutes.  And it is currently sunny at the zoo.
