Application features missing in Creo 4 setup

Hello,

 

we have Toolkit licenses for Creo 5 on a server. If I start the setup program of Creo 5 I see application features like "API Toolkits > Creo Parametric Toolkit". But if I start the setup program of Creo 4 these application features are missing.

 

Do I need additional licenses for Creo 2, Creo 3 and Creo 4?

 

Background: I need to maintain an old Creo 2 Toolkit application for a Customer who still uses Creo 2 and Creo 4.

    Hi,

    I assume you made sure that all setupe.exe pull the licenses from the same server.

    did you try to reconfigure first? maybe the license file has changed in between and the server/client need a refresh.

    Normally licenses are retro compatible.

    if the issue still persists, you may open a case for a closer look.

    I'm using the same license server in both installation attempts.

    Even if I continue the installation of Creo Parametric 4 without the Toolkit application feature, 'reconfigure' shows no application features afterwards. 'Ptcstatus' shows the Toolkit licenses as "license extensions".

    I opened a case.
