block the borrow license

Users should be able to only use a floating license from a license server. But they should not be able to borrow from it.

You can also control borrowing via the license options file.

BORROW_LOWWATER Sets the number of licenses for a BORROW feature that cannot be borrowed.

EXCLUDE_BORROW Excludes a user or predefined group of users from the list of who is allowed to borrow licenses for this BORROW feature.

INCLUDE_BORROW Includes a user or predefined group of users in the list of who is allowed to borrow the BORROW feature.

All license files are sent with 2 files. One allows borrow, the other does not.

If your company does not allow licenses to be borrowed, install the copy without the Borrow option.

rename the license borrow utility

move it to a different location so it cannot be accessed

put it in a password protected folder so only certain people can access it.
