clipping diameter dimensions

I'm back on to wildfire, I have a segmented part and am trying to show the diameter as a clipped dim but I can seem to get this to happen?

 

Is there a config setting to allow this? its been a while so can't remember

Hi Colin,

To create a clipped dimension do the following:

  1. Select a reference
  2. Hold down the CTRL button and select a 2nd reference
  3. Continuing to hold down the CTRL button, select the 1st reference again
  4. Use the MMB to place the dimension

Let me know if that doesn't work.
