component operation->cut out error

Hi,

I want to use negative molding to get the shape of the cone, I did component operation and then cutout, but the shape of the cylinder remains the same, and there is no error message to inform me why is this. Anyone could help? File attached.

Hello, this is more than likely an accuracy issue. Try changing both part accuracies to absolute 0.001 or if relative, match part accuracies to make both parts the same.

The assembly you attached is no good without the individual parts as well, so i could not test my theory.
