Config option for "Shade very small surfaces"

To all,

We would like to "shade very small surfaces" by default (File --> Options --> Model Display)

But according to this page, there's no config option for this option: To Control Shading Quality

Does anyone know a way to check this box by default? (perhaps a hidden config option???)
