Config Setting for Optimizing new machine w/ Creo 2.0

Have a new 64 bit machine,The machine should be a scorcher, butam noticing some sluggishness in Creo 2.0 M020.


Looking for config settings, and suggestions for settings on the Vid card to get everything optimized. Here's the spec's.


Dell Precision t7500


CPU0: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5647 @ 2.93GHz (4 cores)


8 Gb RAM,


Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64


NVIDIA QUADRO 5000


Total Frame Buffer 2.5 GB GDDR5

Hi David,


One thing to look at, as I had a sluggish issue last week on a new pc, is the power saving options for the pc. Mine was set on power saver mode and I kid you not, Creo2 ran a quarter the speed of an identical pc. Nothing to do with pro-e config or the like.


Power save mode found in "control panel / all control panel items / power options" on pc. If power saver setting highlighted reselect to balanced or high performance mode.
