Could not find the parametric.exe file

Hello PTC Community,

I have just downloaded and installed my student version of Creo 3.0, ran the installer as administrator but there are no .exe files in the main folder, as if the program itself is missing. How come?

Andrea,

uninstall all Creo components and install them again. Save screenshots of installation windows and describe installation procedure in your next reply.

Hello MH,

I did as you said, deleted everything and then reinstalled making sure my antivirus and firewalls were off, followed the instructions in my pdf file but still nothing, the icons on my desktop apper like the typical wondows' "unknown file" icon. There are no .exe files in the folders. Sorry I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a Mac and I could not find a safe way to take screenshots but I am pretty sure I didi everything right. Moreover, I did have Creo 2.0 installed since last year, but when I wanted to open it again this year, the parametric.exe file was already missing, as if it did it on its own.
