Question

Creo 2.0 config.pro settings

Afternoon all,

We are moving from Wildfire 4.0 to Creo 2.0 and I was wondering how much I can reuse our config.pro(sup) settings from WF4 within Creo 2.0? That is if I can do that or do I have to start from scratch? If so, can anyone point me in a good direction to find a good base set of config.pro(sup) settings.

Thanks.

Mr. Corten's config.pro Chech Utility would be a good place to start.

The config.pro and config.sup will work for the most part. Fire Creo up with the old confgs and check the std.out for invalid entries. What will change drastically are the customization files for the interface.

Hello ED!

We are also planning to move from WF4 to CREO2.0 in my company, and the config files re-usability is also one of our concern. The problem when using directly WF4 config.pro are the obsolete commands that will remain in CREO 2.0: in my opinion, it's not really "CLEAN". if you find an easy way to do it, please keep me updated
