What happened to the Surface Free Form and Solid Free Form commands in Creo 3.0?  Is there a config or hidden config to bring them back?

It was available in Creo 2.0

Is there a new equivalent version of this feature?

Hi Corey,

It appears that these options have been obsoleted in Creo Parametric 3.0, but you can still access them by setting the config option enable_obsoleted_features to yes.  Once you do that, you will be able to search for Surface Free Form and Solid Free Form in the Command Search or add them to a user-defined tab from the Customize Ribbon.

You can get more information via the following article:

CS180186 - Surface Free Form command under Model > Surface is not available in Creo Parametric 3.0

If you don't have a user name and password to login, you can create one here.

Thanks,

Amit
