CREo 6 save project slowly

Hi, we use new powered PC, and we encountered slow file saving in Creo 6.0.0.0 ver. We use SSD disk, Creo start with SSD, and Creo save file on SSD, process to save small file about 2 minuties, very slow. On my old PC creo 6 save same file 10 sec. How find problem?

  1. Is the SSD the only change that happened?
  2. is there any anti-virus involved?
  3. Is the slow down experienced only with Creo?
  4. did you notice a file size change?

Some other questions:

(1) Is the SSD encrypted?

(2) What is the operating system? I've noticed that Windows 10 can be very slow doing file operations, like deleting.

Hi, SSD not encrypt. installed OS Win 10 x64, however my OLD PC installed Win 10 too, but save file CREO 10 sec.

Hi,

execute following test:

  • rename config.pro to prevent its influence
  • start Creo
  • create new part
  • save part into empty directory and measure save time
  • save part into project directory and measure save time
  • repeat the same test with your config.pro enables.
