Creo embedded chromium: How to open a link to a pdf in a new TAB

As the title says:  it there a way to achieve it? 

The specific case is opening a windchill's attachment (PDF) of a wtdocument

Creo 9.0.5 with Windchill 12.1.2.2 here

I thought that clicking the wheel mouse button would do the trick, but it keeps opening the pdf in the same tab of the embedded browser (normal chrome does behave correctly)

Is there a place to change shortcuts/settings of the embedded browser?
