I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.3.0

We are trying to run the Creo Plug-in for ModelCenter and we are getting an error.

Here are the errors that I faced
Error: Cannot open Variable Selection Form.
Reason: Could not start Creo.
Error: System.Exception: Got Creo error code:
PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR
at Phoenix.ProePlugin.PTCCADTool.checkStatus(Int32
statusMsg)
at Phoenix.ProePlugIn.PTCCADTool.Connect()
at Phoneix.CADUtils.CADSession.Connect()

We were able to get this resolved.  This issue was due to the Creo installation we were using did not set the HKLM\SOFTWARE\PTC registry keys and registry values needed for ANSYS ModelCenter.  We set the registry keys and registry values.  We also used the Creo Open System Window to launch ANSYS ModelCenter.

You may have better support thru the supplier who sells ModelCenter.

Version compatibility issues?

Creo 5 is very old and unsupported.
