Creo Trial in 2026: issues installing on Windows 11 machine

Hi Creo Community, I am trying to use Creo Trial via PTC and am having issues installing it on my machine (Windows 11), and I would like to see if anyone has had the same issue, and if so, could let me know what fixed it for them. After calling PTC support, they have said they don’t help with Creo Trial issues and that I should ask community.ptc.com for help even if I have a past customer number with PTC.

The issue: I am able to download the file “Creo Parametric 13.4.0.0 CloudPlay” (2.5MB) from the Trial page, but when I try to install using this .exe I either get to the Creo Parametric splash screen and it hangs for hours or the splash screen disappears and the .exe file auto-deletes itself from my Windows Explorer “Downloads” folder.

I have tried turning off the Windows Defender Firewall and running the .exe file as an administration, but the issues seem mostly the same.
