email processor for Windows

Can anyone recommend an email processor for Windows that is similar to the UNIX utilities fetchmail or getmail?
These applications act as an automated email client to pull email from a POP3/IMAP server and apply an action to the message content.
I am looking for such a utility that runs under Windows.

    Blat is not what I was looking for. It is used to send email.
    I need a tool to retrieve email.
    However, the same guy that made blat also made "Getmail for Windows" which is mentioned on the same page, and is exactly what I was looking for.
