export cabling features as solid in step format

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0

I have an assembly with some cabling operations. when I am exporting it as a step file, I get cables as surface but I want it as solid.
it there any way to do so, Please help

    Hello AS_10538336,

     

    As Martin mentioned, the behavior you described is the intended behavior with Creo Parametric Cables / Wires.

    Cables / Wires display are cosmetic surface representation and not solid features.

     

    You have the possibility to vote for Idea 779705 reporting such enhancement request.

    I guess this is current Creo functionality. Please ask PTC Support to verify this idea.
