Fatal Error Encountered when Importing a .STP File

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM100

When opening a .stp file from a trusted source, I get a fatal error with a traceback log and then Creo closes.

Here are the errors that I faced
Fatal error encountered. A traceback has been written to C:\PTC_User_Data\michael.baumgarten\traceback.log
Please send it to Technical Support.

Only PTC Technical Support can help with a traceback error log.

However, Creo 4 is out of support so they may not be willing to help, especially if you are not under maintenance contract.
