How to run Creo 3.0 on both laptop and desktop on same license.

Hello everyone,

We are using at the office Creo 3.0 with floating license for 2 different workstations.

The thing that I am trying to do is have Creo installed on my workstation and also my laptop for when I need to work out of office.

Keeping in mind that at no point Creo will run on both desktop and laptop.. how can I configure this?

I have found that when installing CREO on the laptop I need to provide 7788@host name of the desktop workstation.. but it says it is unreachable.

I connect through a wireless network card to a WiFi network which connects to the building central server.

What are my options here?

Communication between laptop and desktop is probably blocked by firewall.

Turn off firewall on desktop workstation and then install Creo on laptop.

Problem no. 2.) ... laptop for when I need to work out of office ...

To be able to run Creo on laptop out of the office, you have to borrow the license before you leave the office.
