How to use the cable reroute command. And can route type be changed?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0

Help needed using the cabling reroute feature and route type. Have wires (cable) that I want to change the route type and also want the reroute others. The PTC help instructions are woefully inadequate to follow. I really prefer to speak to someone or a good video for these operations.

Even if the Route Type shows as "simple route" after routing the cable using the "Follow Cable" as the Route Type, there is no need to reroute the cable. If you want to modify the route, you can add new locations or modify the existing ones.
