Instalation of PTC Creo 3 on Win 10 x64 unsuccessful HELP please

Hi everyone, I have encountered a problem during instalation of Creo 3 M70.

I have available licence from University, everything is fine, but in the instalation itself it gets stuck and reports a problem that in english can be translated as "Overlapping IO operations being processed." Or something like that.


I have turned off my better GPU, now Im using Intel HD3000, Windows 10 x64 but I dont think that is the issue. Running as admin is not helpful either. Thank You for any help provided Im a bit desperate.

Hi,

I met similar problem. It was caused by path to directory, where unzipped installation media was located.

  • I think that you downloaded zip file containing installation media
  • I use 7-zip software to unzip such file, how did you unzip zip file ?
  • I unzip zip file into C:\download directory, what target directory do you use ?
  • important note:full path to setup.exe file must not contain spaces and special Czech characters !!!

Hello,

I have used the same procedure as you, sir.

Anyway, I bought an energy drink and tried all possible solutions and got to success.

For everybody with similar issue:

At first I manually installed \install\addon\creoagent_32_64.msi

then I launched the installing setup again and it installed properly.

Im not discussing that anymore, Im just happy I solved it.
