Is this mobile Workstation good enough for PTC?

Hello,

I'm studying engineering science and we focused on CAD - Construction so i need a very good grafikcard from Nvidia Quadro serie, i found on Lenovo this mobile workstation but I dont know whether CAD PTC Creo will work well on this workstation?

On the other hands there are also Apple Macbooks but how does intel Iris Graphiccard will work on Macbook??

Does anyone use macbook for Creo Applications?=

Here is the Platform Support page Jonathan mentioned. This is a listing specific machines that have been tested and are supported/certified. He is also correct when saying unlisted machines may never have issues but having a supported machine is a great reassurance.

You didn't mention what release of Creo you intend to use but, for example, here is the Lenovo list for Creo 2.0.

Note that the list is not mix-and-match. For instance, if you have a ThinkPad W510, only the NVIDIA Quadro FX880M is supported for Creo Parametric 2.0.

The CPUs on all three options look pretty good.

The graphics card should be OK, I would think, unless you want to handle very large assemblies or use lots of transparency or other 'heavy' textures.

4 GB of RAM should be adequate unless you have very large assemblies; 8 GB should be good for all but the very largest.

Ideally you should check whether this particular machine is 'certified' by PTC, but plenty of people seem to run on non-certified hardware without problems...
