Laptop or Desktop

Hello,, i currently use Dell Precision M4700 Laptop, and i am using Creo 3.0.  I am going  upgrade my computer. But wanted to know should I go Laptop or Desktop. I know the advantages and disadvantage  of both. Just curious of what people are using

    For me, it would depend on how much traveling was being done.

    You can get a more powerful desktop for the same money as a good laptop.

    Going off-brand, Sager for laptops, Gruman for desktop, will get you more than a name brand.

    You do want one with known components.

    I'm on a Dell laptop too.  Keeps up just fine even when things get a little busy or complicated.

    For me, not even a question.  I have to be mobile.  Go for the SSD and built-in backup drive.
