license issues

Hi,

I am a license adminstrator of the firm where i work we have three licenses. one of my proe users who fetches a proe license is not able to leave (give back) the license. i have tried ptc flush on his system still his system holdson to the license. i have also restarted his system but still the problem persists. please sombody help

stop/start licence manager (FLEXlm server for PTC or lmadmin service) or restart operating system at license server.

Hi martin this was the first thing that i tried but then when i click stop server msg comes " unable to stop server". when i click enable force stopping msg comes "stopping server" and it goes on forever..

What FLEXnet version do you use ... 10.8 or 11 ?

What tool do you use to stop/start FLEXnet ?

I tested this procedure:

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

FLEXlm server for PTC > Stop

FLEXlm server for PTC > Start

I didn't any problem...
