Mechanica - batch mode or design studies with multiple simpified reps

Good Day All,

With in Mechanica is it possible to run in batch mode using different simplified reps with various loads and contraints?

I want to use one assembly
I want to run one load and constraint case on the master rep showing all components
I want to run another load and constraint case on a simplified rep of the assembly show just one component
I would like to runMechanica inbatch mode over night and mesh the model(s) for each analysis and run
the analysis for each configuration.

Is this possible?
Will Mechanica batch mode retrieve a simplified rep of an assembly?

My understanding, and experience is that when you create the batch run,
Mechanica files off the model into the specified directory, and it's
those models that are used when the batch file runs. I've taken one
model, set up an analysis, set that analysis for batch run. Then
without exiting anything, taken the same model, changed it, set up a new
analysis and set that to run in the same batch file. I've repeated this
multiple times, and I've also done this for different load cases too.
Not sure what Mechanica would do with a simplified rep, but my first
thought is that since it files off the models at the time you create the
batch run, it would work just fine. Hope this helps, sorry if it's not
definitive... 😉

Sorry fo rthe delay in posting the summary.

They were correct.
For each batch mechanica setup you create, the assembly state is saved in a folder
for the batch run you have specified. The simplified rep state is also maintained.
