Mirrored Part Disappears

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.11.0

Received a large step model from a customer and imported into Creo as a part and then assembled it into a Creo assembly. We need to create a mirror of the original part. It creates fine but is disappearing after creating it. The mirrored part will highlight when selected in the model tree but disappears again when unselected.

Is the import possibly a surface model (switch to wireframe and if is shows in magenta, its surface or check mass properties).

If it is a surface model, it's possible that you have a layer that automatically places new surface/quilts on a layer and blanks them.

Hi Rbehne,

what about  visibility setting? Is it Hidden Line, No Hidden, or Wireframe? Please change or try the following:

  1. Redefine Mirrored Merge feature
  2. References > uncheck Copy Quilts
